During the India International Trade Fair 2017, the Minister of Commerce & Industry of India, Mr. Suresh Prabhu visited the Startup stalls of the startups incubated at IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre. The startups participated in the IITF 2017 were Constems-AI, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Immersive Solutions company and TechnyBirds, Scientific Learning and Educational Aids manufacturing company. The honorable minister also appreciated the efforts done by startups under IIML-Incubator, IIM Lucknow and showed interest in knowing more about TechnyBirds and their products. TechnyBirds is an incubated company at IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre, having its own research and design facility. The company is working with different schools on STEM labs. The entire NCERT syllabus is mapped with different STEM activities for the full academic session. During the presentation to minister, company officials elaborated on the need for the STEM-based education system in India and how it can improve the learning ability of children through associative memories and synthesis. The minister told that under the startup India program initiated by our visionary Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, the ministry is focusing on supporting 20000 startups and incubators in different parts of the country. He also emphasized on different supportive schemes and policies for startup companies.
