Savoir Faire with HAPS Dhillon

With the advancement of technology becomes a way of life, the major challenge faced by organizations is to keep a track of their energy usage and wastage. Energy sustainability, therefore, is no longer a want, but an inevitable need. Eco-energy provides intelligent and sustainable solutions for enterprise-wide energy operations and efficiency management. They have built analytical models and correlation logic to deliver energy efficient solutions to us. EcoEnergy work to reduce the carbon footprint, energy wastage, and recover energy losses. In order to focus on the same, IIML-incubator IIM Lucknow organised a mentor session “Savoir Faire with Mr. HAPS Dhillon”. The session was attended by Start-ups of IIML-Incubator, Entrepreneurs, and Students of IIM Lucknow. The mentor Mr. HAPS Dhillon is a Global Practice Head - EcoEnergy (A United Technologies BU). A globally recognized thought leader, HAPS is responsible for developing energy management and sustainability solutions for the Hospitality & Commercial Building sectors and drives the P&L for these segments globally for Wipro EcoEnergy. HAPS carries an extensive experience in architecting and delivering IoT & Big Data Analytics enabled Managed Energy Services programs tailored to the business dynamics of these sectors. He has been credited with multiple patents and has published research articles in this domain. The mentor session was focused on the IoT enabled energy management. The story of how the Start-up in the area evolved and current abilities catered under its umbrella. The resources that can be catered and specific data analytics possibilities for Eco energy sector. He also focused on the future scope of Ecoenegy in global and also in India’s scenario. In the end of the session, many start-ups working in the field of energy and IoT interacted with the mentor. The session proved to be a great insight in Eco-energy and IoT area for all of its participants!
